The Pretty Procedure is a visceral new live performance work exploring the medicalised body, girlhood, and the pressure to be beautiful. Inspired by personal experience of facial deformity, jaw surgery and body dysmorphia, The Pretty Procedure navigates beauty, shame, and the surreal spaces between diagnosis and transformation. 

Tzarini has been awarded a BEGIN residency by Cork Theatre Collective, to develop her ideas further at Triskel Arts Centre.
